Led by Dorle Feldmeier and Nicole Rasmussen from +R

(Training is in German)

These 2.5 days intensive workshop is delivered by our Germany partner +RASMUSSEN and combines Designing Your Life with the extensive experience of +RASMUSSEN in training, development and consulting on making change happen in your organization.

This format focuses on designing your life and growing your career and is tailored to women’s needs and challenges.

You will engage in a highly interactive in person workshop at lake Starnberg in southern Germany where we will work together to:

  • Apply design thinking and design mindsets to life & career design, increasing your creativity and confident use of design tools.

  • Explore the social, gender and personal narratives that shape us.

  • Reframe dysfunctional beliefs, especially those unique to women.

  • Define the meaning of work and life and how they can be coherent to form your compass.

  • Design the balance and energy you need to fuel your life and career.

  • Envision three potential future lives and learn how to prototype the parts of these lives that are most compelling to you.

  • Create a development dashboard of your strength, barriers, opportunities, and threats.

  • Envision a future self you would like to grow into by exploring current and future roles that you would like to do more/less of

  • Build your personal “Board of Management for Your Development” to support you going further

  • Create you brand and tell your story

  • Identify decision makers and people that have an influence on your development .

  • Prototype a conversation with your audience

  • Create a long- and short-term plan for real change

  • Connect with other women who could help you make progress on your action plan.

What to expect?

The first part of the workshop is all about imaging what is possible, learning more about your aspirations, values and motivators, creating a compass that will guide you in your decision making, tuning into what balance means to you, understanding the concept of managing energy rather than just time and developing possible future scenarios.

In the second part of the program, we get very concrete. It is all about implementation. What are the concrete next steps you will take? Whom and what do you need to be aware of? You will receive feedback to your brand and have the chance to practice conversations in a safe and supportive environment.
